Captain Bill Palmer, an A330 pilot and check airman, joined me to discuss the loss of Air France 447 in June 2009. Bill goes deep into the A330’s flight control and automation systems, as well as pilot training. He covers what caused the airplane to stall and the inability of the crew to recognize what was happening.

The aircraft was an Airbus A330 en route from Rio De Janeiro to Paris with 228 persons on board, all of whom perished.
